On Tuesday nights we meet at The Bridge Center in Pleasant Hill [map] at 6:45 for bridge instruction. Topics and notes are always available ahead of time and the class mainly consists of our discussion of actual hands ("... and what would you bid with this hand?"). Each series normally runs for 8 weeks and costs $10 per class. On Thursday nights we also meet at The Bridge Center in Pleasant Hill [map] at 6:45. I start by giving a short bridge tip followed by a duplicate game of about 15 hands. We try to be done by 9:30. The game is sanctioned by the ACBL for players with less than 300 points and masterpoints are awarded. The cost is $6. We welcome all newcomers, whether they want a class, the game or both. If you are new to bridge, please call me at 925-937-3820 and we'll discuss when and where you can find a beginning bridge class. If you already play bridge but are new to duplicate, please join us at the Thursday game. If you don't have a partner, we'll find you one. Play of the Hand Problems! about 30 bridge players (mostly newer players) who meet twice a week to learn
